Janet Rose (nee Ashcraft) Fleming, of Dillsboro, passed away on October 6, 2021 at the Waters of Dillsboro, at the age of 82. She was born on Jan 31, 1939 to Herman and Verna Katherine (nee Profitt) Ashcraft. Janet worked as a service writer in the Automotive industry. She was an avid reader.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents: Herman and Verna Ashcraft; daughter: Robyn French; grandson Brandon Duty; and sister: Judy Harvey.

Survivors include her sons: Dudder (Dena) Baker, Gregg (Denise) Gullickson, David (Patti) Fleming; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; siblings: John Ashcraft, James Ashcraft, Joni Perrine, and Jeri Lynn Ashcraft. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family.
