James "Jim" Daniel Bunnell

James “Jim” Daniel Bunnell, of Miamitown, Ohio passed away July 21, 2021, at the age of 92. Jim was born in Miamitown, Ohio on October 15, 1928, to William and Elsie (nee Fehlman) Bunnell. He founded James Bunnell, Inc. a sand and gravel company. He also launched other business ventures in Arizona and Ohio. Jim enjoyed traveling, especially in his motor home. He had traveled the world and truly enjoyed life with his family and friends.

Those left to treasure his memory are his daughters: Vicky (Jack) Ernst, Reda Kay (Rick) Renck, Jamie (Doug) Peden; grandchildren: Todd (Tammy), Julie, Gretchen Ernst, Sam (Alisa) Renck, Renee (Keith) Hartman, Carlos (Becky) Munoz, Adam (Amy) Munoz, Mallory (Cory) Blackwood, Trey, and Travis Peden; great-grandchildren: Sonya (Brandon) Pritchard, Bailey, Katie, Jack, and Grant Ernst, Evan, Brady, and Natalie Hartman, Riley, Avery, and Nolan Renck, Max and Maya Munoz, Steve, Nathan, and Hunter Munoz, Dylan, Grace, Easton, and Eli Blackwood; great-great grandchildren: Ben, Sydnee, and Mia Pritchard.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents: William and Elsie Bunnell; daughter and son-in-law: Bonnie Lou and Steve Munoz; his loving wife Reda Mae; siblings: Bill Bunnell, Ivy Cormican, and Elsie Milton.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 28, 2021, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:30 pm at Miamitown Church of Christ, 6670 St. Rt. 128. Burial to follow at Miamitown Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation (Research only) and the Arthritis Foundation through the funeral home. You may bring your donation at the time of the visitation and a funeral home representative will be able to assist you.
