James Goodin

The front porch will never be the same on Washington street.  He was a fixture that would usually have a Miller Light in his hand and gave directions from his stoop.

James Goodin, of Harrison, passed away on May 25, 2022 at the age of 70.  He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Deo & Elisa (nee Clark) Goodin on February 11, 1952.

Jim worked at Wayne Water Works until his retirement in 2014.  He enjoyed gardening and would let you know if you were doing something wrong.   Miller Light was his beer of choice but recently due to his health had to switch to Mic Ultra (not his favorite.)

He will be missed dearly by his daughter: Erin (Wayne Benton) Goodin and son: James Darin (Christy) Goodin; cherished grandchildren: Corey, Kelsie, Jaylee, & Easton; beloved siblings: Don (Bernice) Goodin, Cathy (Houston) Bolser, Mike (Theresa) Goodin, Frank Goodin, Diane (Fred) Hubberd, Margie (Steve) Clark, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents:
siblings: Chuck Goodin, Sherry Evans, Thomas Goodin, & Kenny Goodin.

Celebration of Life will be held on July 9th from 1 pm until everyone has had their fill of Miller Light at the AMVETS Post 13, 515 S State St, West Harrison, IN 47060.
