Jack L Craft

Jack Lloyd Craft, of Harrison, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at the age of 88. He was born to Jasper and Dorothy (Nease) Craft on January 31, 1935, in Colson, Kentucky. On March 1, 1958, he married Shirley Jean Jones, and they were blessed with one daughter: Kathleen. Jack enjoyed playing cornhole, gardening, and camping. His favorite camping place to visit was Myrtle Beach. According to his family, Jack liked to fix things that did not need fixed. He loved his church, Legacy Christian Church, and lived by four mottos: “Don’t judge others,” “Don’t give up,” “Always give your best,” and “Turn it over to Jesus.”

Those left to cherish the many wonderful memories are his wife: Shirley Craft; Daughter: Kathleen (Paul) McMullin; brother: James (the late Sylvia) Craft; and sister-in-law: Patricia Ann (Steve) Owens.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents: Jasper and Dorothy Craft; brother: Odell Craft; and brother-in-law: Bud (Jinny) Jones.

Visitation will be held at Legacy Christian Church, 216 N. Sycamore St, Harrison, OH, on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm. Burial to follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.
