Gerald "Jerry" Pierce Obituary

Gerald “Jerry” Wayne Pierce, of Okeana, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the age of 72. Jerry was born in Kingsport, Tennessee to Howard and Lizzie (nee Resnick) Pierce. In July of 1969, Jerry married Ima Childers and together they were blessed with two sons: Steven and Jason. Jerry was a hard worker and worked many hours a day. He had a passion for working on cars and drag racing. Jerry had five cats, thanks to Ima, that he grew to love. Almost every evening for dinner, Jerry could be found at the Harrison Wendy's.

Jerry was preceded in death by his loving wife: Ima Pierce; infant son: Jason Pierce.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son: Steven (Christina) Pierce; and grandchildren: Cody, Shelby, Alyssa, and Conner.

Graveside service for the family will be held at Glen Haven Cemetery, Harrison, Ohio.
