Everett Hollin

1928 - 2021

Everett Hollin, of Harrison, passed away on April 13, 2021 at the age of 92.  He was born on July 18, 1928 in Clay County, KY to James and Laura (Nee Fergeson) Hollin.  He married Ella Nora Noel on October 12, 1946 and they were blessed with three children: Wayne, Dennis and Anita. Everett worked as a Molder for the Hamilton Foundry for many years.  He was born with antiquing in his blood.  His brothers and sisters also enjoyed collecting antiques too.  Everett also enjoyed going to auctions and restoring old cars and bicycles.  He really enjoyed going to the Casino’s and trying his luck.  Everett didn’t need luck when it came to his wife Ella Nora.  She was the love of his life and he shared a special relationship with her for almost 75 years.

Everett was a loving and devoted husband of Ella Nora (nee Noel) Hollin; beloved father of Dennis (Paula) Hollin, Anita (Dave) Reusch and the late Wayne E. Hollin; cherished grandpa of Tim, Taffy Hollin, Katie (Kaiden) Artressia, Ginger (Mike) Galbraith, Brandy (Daniel) Bills, and Tyler (Marina) Reusch; dear great grandpa of Nathan, Taylor, Madison, Jansen, Carsyn, Tucker, Lanie, Owen, Roree, Renn and another on the way; and great great grandpa of Kingston.

Everett was preceded by his parents: James and Laura Hollin; and his siblings: Cecil, Vernon, Jean, and Juanita Hollin.

Private family services will be Friday, April 16, 2021. Graveside will follow at Glen Haven Cemetery.
