With his family by his side, Elmer “Rick” Keller, of Harrison, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the age of 75. He was born on April 10, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Elmer H and Mary Ann (nee Mueller) Keller. Elmer proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. On June 8, 1968, he married Beverly Jean Williams and together they were blessed with 2 sons: Keith and Jonathan. Elmer worked for National Distillers for many years, meanwhile volunteering his time as a Lieutenant on the Whitewater Township Fire Department to help his community. Elmer and Beverly both loved drag racing. Elmer could be found working on cars and racing at Edgewater Racetrack. He took great joy in helping his grandson work on his race car. Elmer loved his family dearly, with his grandchildren holding an extra special place in his heart.
Elmer was preceded in death by his wife: Beverly Jean Keller; and parents: Elmer and Mary Ann Keller.
Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved children: Keith Keller and Jonathan (Ashley) Keller; adored grandchildren: Christapher, Chloe, MacKenzie, and Ally Keller.
Visitation will be held at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, Ohio on Friday, July 29th from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Legacy Christian Church or Crossroads Hospice. A funeral home representative will be available throughout the services to assist you with your donation.
