Dorothy “Dottie” Smith (nee Rulon), of Lawrenceburg, passed away on March 3, 2022 at the age of 91. Dottie was born on Feb 18, 1931 to Roy Sr. and Angela (nee Littiken) Rulon. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Dottie also enjoyed shopping and reading romance novels. She worked at Pioneer vending for many years

She taught her daughter how to be a strong woman and to always having a giving heart.

She will be remembered by her daughter and son in law: Angela & Steve Callahan; Cherished grandchildren: Brittany, & Dillon and the many nurses and staff she touched at Shady Nook Care Center. Dottie was preceded in death by her grandson: Keith Callahan; parents: Roy Sr. and Angela Rulon and a brother: Roy Rulon Jr..

Dottie donated her body to Science to help others. Memorials may be made to Shady Nook Activities Department, Att: Tiffany; 36 Village Drive, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025
