Two things Dennis loved, racing and golfing. Not many can say that their last day of life they were doing what they loved but Dennis can. On August 20, 2022, while playing golf at Fernbank Golf Course Dennis had a massive heart attack/stroke where he passed away on August 24, 2022, at the age of 69.
Dennis J Noppert was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 12, 1953, to Joseph and Katheryn (nee Kolb) Noppert. He grew up in Sayler Park and within a tight knit community many friends became extended family. Dennis ran Noppert Autobody for many years and then worked for Joseph Chevrolet until he retired. Dennis was great at fabricating things and many people asked for his help over the years. He loved racing, which is something he passed to his sons. He had the biggest smile watching his son race his car. Dennis left a lasting impression on everyone he met and will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
Those left to keep his memory alive are his wife: Rosemary “Rosie” Noppert; children: Tara (Edward) Egan, Joseph (Rachel) Noppert, James (Melissa) Noppert, and Jonathan Noppert; grandchildren: Aiden Egan, Joseph Jr and Kylee Noppert, Carson and Layla Noppert; mother: Katheryn “Katie” (nee Kolb) Noppert; siblings: Janice Fliehman, Denise Cannon, and Robin Noppert. Also survived by nieces, nephews and his extended Sayler Park family.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father: Joseph Noppert.
A Celebration of Life service will be held At Fernbank Golf Course on September 10, 2022 from 4 pm to 7 pm.
Memorials may be made in Dennis’s honor to the SPARC 2 (Sayler Park Auto Racing Club).
