Dennis C Meyer

Dennis C. “Denny” Meyer, of Sayler Park, passed away on May 8, 2022, at the age of 70.  He was born on October 9, 1951.  Denny served in the US Army from 1969 to 1972 and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was an Environmental Chemist and an Environmentalist at heart.  Denny was well educated and would always let you know if you were wrong.  He enjoyed teaching friends and family, and he loved to learn.  Denny was a traveler and took many trips to Mexico to check up on his prawn farm. He loved riding his Harley, which he drove to Mexico many times, and canoeing.  Denny’s other enjoyments in life were Budweiser Beer, playing Backgammon, Euchar, and crochet.

Denny’s legacy will live on with his children: Adrianne Meyer, Dustin Meyer, Denise Cugliari, & Brittany Judy; cherished grandchildren: Arianne “Lily” & Wyatt Meyer; siblings: Marilyn Lee, David Meyer & Maribeth Logsdon.

Military Honors will be at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 138 Monitor Ave, Sayler Park, on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at 5:00 pm. A Gathering of Friends will follow from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.   Denny will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery on a later date.
