David Alan Wise

David A. Wise, age 64, of Hidden Valley, passed away on August 19, 2020.  David was born on October 8, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio to Ronald R. and Charlotte (nee Kellis) Wise.  He married Maryann Wibbels on January 8, 1977.  David worked for 25 years at Metal Treating Inc. as an engineer.  After retiring he enjoyed being on the Boat Patrol at Hidden Valley Lake.  David enjoyed fishing, Boating, Camping and Golfing.  He was also proud of being a Eagle Scout. 

David was preceded in death by his son: David John Wise; and father: Ronald Robert Wise.

Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years Maryann Wise; dear children: Mandy (Matt) Green, Gregory Wise and Timothy (Angela) Wise; cherished grandchildren: Justin Keaton, Collin and Anthony Wise; beloved mother: Charlotte Wise; siblings: Bruce (Deborah) Wise, Douglas Wise and Robert (Stacy) Wise.  He is also survived by his sister’s-in-law: Sandi Schaffner and Lynn Cavanaugh; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine Street, Harrison, OH 45030.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 10 am at St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, 23670 Salt Fork Road, Bright, IN 47025.  Fr. Randy Summers will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery, OH.
