Catherine Denise Szatkowski

Catherine Denise Szatkowski "Weezy", age 60, beloved Mom, Memaw, Sister, Aunt and Friend to many, was called to her eternal resting place on April 8, 2023.  Catherine loved her kids and adored her grandkids.  She loved working in her garden and was often referred to as "the plant Doctor" by her family, because she could bring anything back to life.  She was also a wonderful cook.  She worked as a cook at a bar for a few years, but her specialty was the ability to make wonderful meals using what you already had in your house.  Weezy had the best smile and it would instantly make you feel loved when she walked into the room. She was a caretaker at heart and always took care of others.... from working as a caretaker for the elderly to helping her children and grandchildren. 

She will be dearly missed by her daughters: Kelly (Don) Sandling & Samantha "Nicolle" (Dennis Rose) Szatkowski;  Son: Justin Szatkowski;  cherished grandchildren that referred to her as "Memaw": Max Mehlman, Seth Szatkowski, Logan Hischemiller, Christina, Chelsea & Charlotte Rose.  

All are welcome to a Celebration of Life which will be held on April 22, 2023, at the Milford Civic Center, 6101 Meijer Drive, Milford, OH 45150 from 12 pm to 3pm.  Words of Remberance will start at 1 pm.  The family would like to invite family and friends to the after party at Rogers, 5976 Deerfield Rod, Milford, OH 45150, for Food and Music and all the "Weezie" Fun we can have.   Please bring what you are drinking and a chair, the only beverage that will be served will be bottled water.
