Betty Jane (Holland) Durbin

Betty Jane Edith Durbin (nee Holland) passed away on August 12, 2023 at the age of 95.  She was born on November 10, 1927 to Albert and Edna (nee Harvey) Holland.  She married George Miller and was blessed with three children: Bill, Bobbie Ann, Jean and Linda. After George's passing, she married Calvin Durbin and was blessed with 4 more children: Lenore, Ralph, Regina and Laura.  Betty Jane was a wonderful mom and loved her children.  She was known to tell them "You Behave" many times over the years.  She was also a hard worker and did alterations at Burkhart's Clothing Store.  Betty Jane enjoyed watching the Bengals, wrestling and drag racing.  She also loved a good flea market and the bargains she would find.  Betty Jane will be dearly missed by her children: Bill (Karen) Miller, Bobbie Ann (Kyle) Reed, Linda (Butch) Miller, Lenore Durbin, Ralph (Helen) Durbin, & Jean Sparks; 17 wonderful grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.  

Betty Jane was preceded in death by her husbands: George Miller & Calvin Durbin; beloved children: Regina Winkle and Laura Durbin; parents: Albert and Edna (nee Harvey) Holland; siblings: Adaline Marritt, Bud, Harold and Carol Ann Holland.

Visitation will be held at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine Street, Harrison, OH 45030, on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 10 am until the time of the funeral at 11 am with Brother Steve Kittle officiating.  Burial to follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church.  A funeral home representative will be available to accept memorials.
