Anthony "Andy" "Poon" Joseph Losekamp

Anthony Joseph Losekamp; of Brookville, lost his battle with cancer on June 1, 2021 at the age of 36.  Many knew Anthony as “Andy” or “Poon.” He was born on October 23, 1984 in Cincinnati to Kimberly Mercurio Losekamp and Mark Reisiger.  Andy graduated East Central in 2003 and went to work as a truck driver.  Since he had the ability to construct anything he put his mind to he then made the move to construction and lastly into excavating business.  Andy became a dad to Aiden in 2011 and he took on the role wonderfully.  He ended up meeting Jessica Marrie Callaway and they were married on October 3, 2015 and he became a bonus dad to Madison and Benjamin.   Their blended family received another addition in 2019 with the birth of Weston Losekamp, which linked them all together.  Andy enjoyed spending time with his children. One of their special thing to do was doing crafts.  He was a man of many talents.  He enjoyed cooking, deer hunting and could build anything he put his mind to.  He had an idea to build a smoker on a trailer and he built it.  He was a hard worker however he also liked to have fun.  Being with friends was also important to “Poon.”  There are many stories of his shenanigans and many stories of fun times with friends in the DWK group. 

Survivors include his wife: Jessica (Callaway) Losekamp; children: Aiden, Weston Losekamp & bonus children: Madison Jernigan and Benjamin Yenchochic; loving and supportive parents: Joseph and Kimberly Losekamp; biological father: Mark (Peggy) Reisiger; brother: Benjamin, Christopher and David Reisiger; grandmother: Jean Mercurio; mother-in-law: Kimberly Lowe and Father-in-law: Bradley Callaway; sisters-in-laws: Ashley, Candice and Heather Callaway.  Andy was also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be at Brater Winter Funeral Home, on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 10 am until 3 pm. At 3 pm we will share memories of Andy.  If you want to share a memory but are not able to speak in front of others write your memory down and your memory will be shared (some might have to be the edited version.)  A reception will follow at Peggy & Rick Wolfram's Home, 1158 Kocher Road, West Harrison, IN 47060.

The family asked that donations be made to Brater Winter Funeral Home to help with defraying the cost of the funeral expenses.  As of June 10, 2021 the funeral amount has been covered.
