Wanda J Burk

We are saddened to announce that Wanda Joyce Burk, age 76, of Bright passed away on June 9, 2019 at her home. Wanda was born on October 31, 1942 in Hamilton, Ohio. She was the oldest child born to Harvey and Datha (nee Turner) Clark. She had two younger siblings: Denver and Deborah which she adored growing up. She graduated Salutatorian from William Henry High School class of 1960. She was blessed with one son Jimmy. Wanda worked at Fernald and did a lot of things but mostly dealt with the facilities and day to day operations. She took early retirement and after retirement she did a lot with genealogy. Wanda will be remembered by her son and his wife Jim and Kim Burk; loving grandsons: Markus Kuykendoll, Clint "CJ" Burk, and Derek Burk; devoted siblings: Denver (Judy) Clark and Deborah Clark Cuda; cherished nieces: Jennifer White and Kathryn (Mark) Cookendorfer; great nieces and nephew: Leah White, Luke and Alaina Cookendorfer. Visitation will be at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, OH 45030 on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 11 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12 PM. Burial will follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Harrison. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital. You can make a donation online or you can bring your check to the funeral home and we will notify the family of your donation.
