Veda McLean Obituary
Veda S. (nee Hudson) McLean, passed away on July 30. 2019 at the age of 71. She was born on November 20, 1947 in Cincinnati Ohio to the late Harry and Mercedes (nee Raymond) Hudson. She married Darrell McLean on April 8, 1967. They were blessed with one son Dennis. Veda worked as a Medical Assistant for many years. She enjoyed reading, going to the movies and spending time with her girlfriends.
Those left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 52 years: Darrell McLean; loving son: Dennis (Jennifer) McLean; grandchildren: Katelyn, Rose, & Mitchell McLean; great granddaughter: Jordynn Busam-Baldock; nephew: Bob (Ruthann) Thomas; and great nieces: Ashley & Shelbi Thomas. Veda was also survived by many wonderful friends.
Preceded in death by her parents: Harry and Mercedes Hudson; siblings: Elsie Thomas, Marilyn Bailey and Ronald Hutson.
Visitation will be held at Eden Chapel UMC, 150 Dahlia Ave., Sayler Park, OH, 45233, on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 5 pm until the time of the funeral service at 6 pm.
Burial will be on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Spring Gove Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the main gate of Spring Grove Cemetery at 9:50 and the services will be held promptly at 10 am.
Memorials may be made to The American Diabetes Association.
