Thomas Walter Deutenberg

Thomas Walter Deutenberg, Resident of Sayler Park passed away on June 23, 2017 at the age of 83. Tom was born on May 12, 1934 in Covington, KY to the late Walter William and Amelia Mary (nee Schnorbus) Deutenberg. He married Donna McClearn and they were blessed with three children: Anne, Dan and Tad. Tom enjoyed golfing, listening to music and reading. He loved being part of the Sayler Park community where he raised his family and made many friends. Tom enjoyed the simple things in life and had a big heart for all those he loved.

Survivors include his loving wife Donna Deutenberg; Devoted children and their spouses: Anne (Ernst) Macke, Dan (Charlene) Deutenberg & Tad (Micki) Deutenberg; 7 Cherished grandchildren: Sarah, Ernst & Katherine Macke, Stephan, Greyden Deutenberg, Corrine & Lukas Deutenberg; dear sister: Mary Lou (Steve) Oker.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents: Walter William and Amelia Mary Deutenberg and his oldest sister Theresa M. Stadtlander.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 AM on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at St. Aloysius on the Ohio, 134 Whipple St., Sayler Park. Burial will follow with Military Honors at St. Joseph New Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Al's on the Ohio or Hospice of Cincinnati. You may bring your donation to the Mass and a funeral director will be able to assist you will your donation. If you are unable to make the service then mail your donation made payable to either charity and mail to the funeral home Brater Winter Funeral Home, 138 Monitor Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45233. The family will be notified of your donation.
