Rosie Ragar Obituary

Rose Mae Ragar, age 95, of Harrison, passed away at Shawnee Springs Nursing Home, on June 3, 2018. She was born on November 4, 1922 in New Castle, IN to Henry and Icie (nee Wolf) Studer. She married Richard J. Ragar Sr., and they were blessed with three children: Carolyn, Rich and Donna. Rose was a wonderful wife and mother. She had such a caring heart and was always taking care of others even strangers. She loved taking rides in the car to enjoy the scenery. Rose will be remembered for Sunday night dinners where she made the best chicken dinners and after the family would play badminton or go for a ride in the convertible. She also made many wonderful memories with her grandchildren when she took them camping. Rose will be missed but never forgotten.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband Richard J. Ragar, Sr. in 2004; her daughter and son in law Carolyn (Charles) Langdon; parents: Henry Herman Studer and Icie (Chester) Horton. and her siblings: Herman Studer Jr. and Mary Bell (Albert) Holcomb.

Those left to carry on her memory are her children and their spouses: Rich (Carol) Ragar and Donna (Chuck Trader) Ross; Cherished grandchildren: Brenda (Kelly) Emery, Raymond (Q) Langdon, Diana (Don) Kasler, Kathie (Tom) Lawyer Scott, Karen (Roger Allen) Puening, Chuck (Becky) Ross, Dee (Paul) Wuestefeld, Rick (Lena) Ross, & Scott (Ashley) Ross; 28 great grandchildren, 25 Great Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Great Grandchildren.

Services will be Private

Memorials to Alzheimer's Assoc. may be mailed to 644 Linn St., Cincinnati, OH 45203. They will notify the family of your generous donation.
