Ralph Geis Obituary
Ralph William Geis, 81, of Logan, Indiana passed away on December 9, 2019 at home.
Ralph was the son of the late William and Lorretto (Becker) Geis born on August 21, 1938, in St. Peters, Indiana. He served in the US Army and worked as a welder at Cincinnati Incorporated in Harrison, Ohio. He married Karen Schaeffler in July 1999.
Ralph enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and friends, sharing stories, watching Nascar, the Reds and woodworking. He also enjoyed giving weather updates, daily. He was always ready and willing to offer his help to anyone in need.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karen and his 3 children: David (Valia) Geis, Brian (Cathy) Geis and Vanessa (Zeke) Taylor; 5 bonus children: Phyllis (Chris) Dealy, Susan Schuman, Robyn (Dan) Kirchgassner, Bobby (Jenna) Schaeffler, and Sarah Schaeffler; 2 siblings Adaline Kuebel and Carroll (Cathy) Geis; 15 grandchildren, Alex Geis, Jake Burns, Sam Burns, Brody Taylor, Gus Fulton, Sydney Taylor, Kennedy Taylor, Clay Dealy, Sean Dealy, Owen Dealy, Finn Dealy, Joe Kirchgassner, Sam Kirchgassner, Elizabeth Kirchgassner and Cash Schaeffler; and several nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his brother William Geis, sister Loretta Gartenman, and son-in-law Dave Schuman.
In keeping with the wishes of Ralph, there will be no funeral services. A private celebration of life will be held.
