Nancy Landwehr Obituary
Nancy Elizabeth (nee Clemmer) Landwehr, age 96, of Heiskell, TN, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in Knoxville, TN. She was born April 9, 1921 in Berea, Kentucky to the late John Francis and Ruth Victoria (nee Westburg) Clemmer. She was married to Gilbert Landwehr and together they were blessed with five daughters. Nancy enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.
Nancy is preceded in death by her husband: Gilbert Landwehr; her parents: John and Ruth Clemmer; and her son-in-law: Gus Sterling.
Those left behind to mourn Nancy's loss include her loving children: Betty (David) Bowen, Shirley Sterling, Frances Butsch, Marcia (Sid) Fenter, and Nancy (Kenny) Witte; caring grand-children: Heidi (Brandon) Fillingim, Anthony "AJ" Bowen, Terry (Andrea), Billy (Kathleen), James, and Anna Sterling, Dawn and Stephanie Butch, Robert (Sandie), Jessie (Anne Marie), and Richard Fenter, Paradise (Joe) Kirkland, Kenny (Misty) and Kevin (Nola) Witte, Krystal (Rob) Schmiesing, and Kurtis Witte; 21 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM at Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 138 Monitor Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45233. Funeral service will follow on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 1 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Alzheimer's Association through the funeral home. Checks made out to the American Alzheimer's Association and brought to the funeral home and a representative will help you. If you are unable to make it to Nancy's services donations may be mailed to Brater-Winter Funeral Home.
