Marjorie Hornbach Obituary

Marjorie L. (nee Gaiser) Hornbach, of Crosby Township, passed away on March 21, 2020 at the age of 84. She was born on December 4, 1935 in Cincinnati to Walter and Henrietta (nee Bader) Gaiser. She married Maurice Hornbach on December 27, 1958. Marjorie & Maurice were blessed with a daughter Maureen. Margie worked for Harrison Building and Loan for 26 years, starting as a teller and retired as a Manager. She enjoyed being active in Crosby Township Senior Center Chair Volleyball, Women's Auxiliary Fire Department, Crosby Township Red Hats Society, and in her younger years she was on the PTA and organized the Crosby Elementary Ham and Turkey Dinner for many years. Margie enjoyed cooking, QVC and keeping Maurice in line.
Those left to cherish Margie's memory are her loving husband of 61 years Maurice Hornbach; loving daughter Maureen Balent and son-in-law: Paul Balent; cherished granddaughters: Emily and Rachel Balent; beloved sister Hazel (Donald) Feller; nieces and nephew and friends.
The family will be having a Private Graveside Service on March 28, 2020 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. There will be a public Mass and Celebration at a later date. Friends are encouraged to leave a memory on the website that will be printed for the family for their memory book.

Memorials can be made to Crosby Township Fire & EMS, Crosby Township Senior Group, Crosby Township Historical Society, or St John the Baptist Church Building Fund. Donations can be made to the charity and mail your donation to the funeral Home. The funeral home will notify the family of your donation and mail all donations to the charities in Margie's memory.
