Leon Boggs Obituary
Leon Boggs, of Cedar Grove, IN, passed away on May 16, 2020 at the age of 79. Leon was born toJames and Olga (nee Adams) Boggs on February 27, 1941 in Lawrenceburg, IN. He married Judy Jefferson, on October 17, 1970 and they were blessed with two children: Leon M. and Dalana. Leon loved the outdoors, working, fixing, making something outside. He also enjoyed deer hunting and fishing with family.
Leon is reunited with his wife Judy (nee Jefferson) Boggs; parents: James and Olga Boggs; siblings: Mary Byrd, Robert "Bobbie" Boggs, Thelma (Charles) Farthing, Juanita McDaniel, Louise (Norman) Hart, Mavis Dittmer, and Brenda Case; and brother & sister-in-laws: Gene Collins, Gloria Boggs.
Those left to carry out his legacy are his loving children: Leon M. (Cheryl) Boggs, Dalana (Jim) Wandsnider, Donna Johnson & Chuck Bilingsley; cherished grandchildren: Hunter Boggs, Brittney Wandsnider, Jacob Boggs, Kylie Wandsnider, Emma Wandsnider, Cohl Wandsnider and Reese Wandsnider; dear siblings: James Boggs, Callie Collins, Samantha Galvin, Matthew (Kristi) Hays, Sarah Hays, Bethany Bailey and Emily Bailey; brother in law: Jim Case and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at his home in Cedar Grove on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 2 PM.
Memorials may be made to North Dearborn Conservation Club - 7004 Church Ln, West Harrison, IN 47060 in Leon's memory.
