Juliette Wilber Obituary

Juliette Loretta (nee Fortin) Wilber, passed away on November 19, 2019 at the age of 91. Juliette was born in Quebec, Canada on May 25, 1928 to Romeo and Marie Emma (nee Gingras) Fortin. She married Byron Wilber on January 30, 1946 in New York. They were blessed with 7 children: Gail, Cheryl, Roberta, Byron, Teresa, Joe and Terry.

Juliette enjoyed camping, watching her family play softball, being outdoors especially in the garden. She loved being with her family. In her younger years she waitressed at the Carrousel Inn and waited on President Ronald Reagan when he was in town. Juliette was also a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Juliette was preceded in death by her parents: Romeo and Marie Fortin; husband Byron Wilber, 1 grandchild, 3 great grandchild, and 2 brothers.

Survivors include her children: Gail Minor of St. Leon, Cheryl Emery of Brookville, Roberta (Chuck) Rudisell of Sunman, Byron (Patsy) Wilber of Oldenburg, Teresa (Terry) Neu of West Union, OH, Joe (Krista) Wilber of Lawrenceburg, and Terry (Jessica) Wilber of West Harrison; 25 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren; beloved sister: Anna Marie (Bill) Dunn of California, and brother Johnny Fortin of New York. Also survivived by many nieces and nephews.

Inurnment will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 2 PM at Drewersburg Cemetery, 2147 Drewersburg Rd, West Harrison, IN 47060. Father Jeff Kemper will be presiding. Memorials maybe made to the Alzheimers Association. www.alz.org
