Jimmie B Stout

Jimmie B. Stout, age 79 of Harrison, passed away on June 22, 2019 at his home. Jimmie was born on August 13, 1939 in Hamilton, Ohio to Sheldon and Esther (Bogart) Stout. He married Fran Bray on June 23, 1960. They were blessed with three children Kim, Ginger, and Jimmie II. Jimmie retired as a Plant Engineer from Monsanto/Bayer. He and Fran also worked at the A&W Harrison which was owned by his father Doc Stout. That building burnt down and was built back as the Double S Corral (now known as Borderline.) Jim and Fran opened up Stouts Drive in next door and ran that from 1977-1988. Jimmie loved people and enjoyed making people laugh. He never met a stranger and he called everyone "Bubba." Jimmie loved playing golf, camping and would always schedule any trips around restaurant stops.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 59 years Fran Stout; devoted children: Kimberly (Greg) Wilson, Ginger (Bill) Korn, & Jimmie B. (Megan) Stout II; wonderful grandchildren: Kelly Meyer, Jerad Wilson, Bradley (Shanna) Korn, Shawna Korn, Tyler Stout and Tanner Stout; extended grandchildren: Devon& James Serrentino. Also survived by 4 great grandchildren: Jaylen Meyer, Brayden & Barrett Korn, and Jaxon Stout.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents: Sheldon Stout and Esther King; and a brother Sheldon "Tex" W. Stout.
Visitation will be held on Friday June 28, 2019 from 5 PM until the time of the Masonic Service at 7:45 PM at Brater Winter Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 11 AM at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, Ohio. Burial to follow at Glenhaven Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Shriners Burn Hospital or Odd Fellows. You may make donations at the funeral home with a funeral home representative or you may mail your donation to the funeral home and they will notify the family.
