Inetta Wesley Obituary

Inetta "Jo" (nee Teague) Wesley, of West Harrison, Indiana passed away December 27, 2019, at the age of 71. Jo was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 29, 1948, to Paul and Nancy (nee Jones) Teague. She was blessed with 2 children, Leah Jo & Roger "Kevin". Jo worked for 20 years as a bookkeeper in the banking industry for American State Bank and Progressive Federal Savings & Loan. She then went on to work for 25 years at the Dearborn County Sheriff's Department, which she loved more than anyone should love a job. They were part of her family. Jo was a lifelong resident of West Harrison and loved serving her community on the West Harrison Town Council for the greater part of 30 years. She was also a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Harrison, where she taught hundreds of children about Jesus in Sunday School and VBS for over 30 years. Jo dearly loved her church family and singing in church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved children: Leah Jo (Bruce) Markewicz & Roger "Kevin" (Katie) Wesley; grandchildren: Jacob & Joseph Markewicz, Noah & Savannah Wesley; siblings: Lucy (Clarence) Johnson, Sherry (Ed) Heinzelman, Lita (Wayne) Singer, & Paula (John) Rieman. As well as, many nieces and nephews who were dear to her.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents: Paul & Nancy Teague; & sister: Willa Mae Teague.
