Howard Estes Obituary
Mr. Howard Estes, of Harrison, Ohio, born on August 16, 1924 in Pryce, Kentucky, passed away at age 93 on April 14, 2018 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Howard was the loving husband of Geraldine (nee Jordan) Estes. They would have celebrated their 74th Anniversary in September.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Estes; daughter, Catherine (John) Scholle; grandchildren, Edwin (Barb) Scholle, Shawn (Debra) Scholle, Robert (Tina) Scholle, and Aaron (Kayla) Scholle; and great-grandchildren, Jonathon, Kylie, Dakota, Makayla, Lilly, Hunter, Elizabeth, Jonathan, and Rebecca.
He always enjoyed camping with his grandkids and great grandkids. He also looked forward to and loved fishing trips with his grandsons.
He served in the Army during WWII, in the Air Force during the Korean War, and stayed in the Ohio Air National Guard after the Korean War.
Friends and family can pay their respects at the memorial service on Saturday, April 28 at 11:00 a.m. at St Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, 23670 Salt Fork Rd, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025. In Lieu of flowers the family invites donations in Howard's name to Honor Flight Tri-State through the funeral home.
