Geraldine Lipps

Geraldine "Gerri" (nee Metz) Lipps, of Sayler Park, Ohio passed away January 1, 2020, at the age of 83. Geraldine was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 30, 1936 to Walter & Claire (nee Rogers) Metz. She married Gene Lipps and together they were blessed with 3 children: Albert, Connie, & Greg. Gerri coached girls' volleyball and softball at St. Al's on the Ohio. She loved to golf and spend the winter months in Florida.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband: Gene Lipps; beloved children: Albert (Linda) Lipps, Connie (Bill) O'Brien, & Greg "Walt" Lipps; grandchildren: Jason (Julie) O'Brien, Allison (Ronny) Weiss, Jim (Ursula) Campbell, Jennifer Campbell, & Josh (Ashlee) Bedinghaus; great grandchildren: Liam & Riley O'Brien, Emma & Aiden Weiss.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 10:30 AM at Eden Chapel UMC, 150 Dahlia Ave., Sayler Park, Ohio. Burial to follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery, Delhi, Ohio. Memorials may be made to Fernbank Golf Course or Hospice of Cincinnati through the funeral home. You may bring your donation at the time of the visitation and a funeral home representative will be able to assist you.
