Georgia Lee Dwelly

Georgia Lee Dwelly (nee Thompson), age 78, of Harrison, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018. She was born on May 24, 1939 to Nathan and Dorothy (nee Boyd) Thompson. On March 22, 1958, she married the love of her life, Earl J. Dwelly, and together they just celebrated 60 years of marriage. They were blessed with three children: Deborah, Pamela, and Tim.

Georgia enjoyed the outdoors. She loved nature, being by the lake, staying in cabins, and also enjoyed going to Whitewater Park. She was very compassionate and adored caring for her husband, children, grandchildren, and even strangers. She found joy in spending time with her grandkids as well as her Yorkie, "Casey," and her Dachshund, "Cody." She is described as a real lady, and a gentle woman that would nurture you back to health when you were sick.

She is preceded in death by her parents Nathan and Dorothy Thompson, and her brother Lewis Thompson.

Those left to remember the wonderful memories they have shared with Georgia are her loving husband of 60 years: Earl Dwelly; caring children: Deborah (Robert) Donnellon, Pamela (Myron) Kraus, and Tim Dwelly; adored grandchildren: Jacob, Megan, and Molly Kraus and Thomas Beach, who was adopted into her heart; and siblings Nancy Schulenburg and Linda Asher.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the First Presbyterian Church in Harrison 115 S Vine St, Harrison, OH 45030 with service to follow at 1:30.
