Elsie Doneworth Obituary
Elsie Elizabeth Doneworth (nee White). Passed away January 18, 2020 at the age of 96 in Covington, TN.
She was born on August 29, 1923 in Logan, Indiana to Lester and Edna (nee Hines) White. Elsie lived in Harrison, OH most of her life until she and Don moved to Memphis, TN to be close to their daughter. Elsie had a wonderful smile. She loved to read and watch the birds. Her and Don enjoyed traveling around in their RV for many years. She will be missed dearly by her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Don Doneworth, her parents Lester and Edna (Hines) White, her brother Ernest White and brother-in-law Vernon Stutz.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving daughter Sandy (Steve) Schwemberger, her sister Thelma Jean (White) Stutz and sister-in-law Myrtle White. She was the step grandmother of Keith Schwemberger and Sarah (Scott) Ruthven and step great grandmother of Kylie and Roman Ruthven.
Visitation will be held Saturday February 1, 2020 from 12pm until time of service at 1pm at Brater-Winter Funeral Home 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, OH. Burial to follow at Gibson Cemetery, Bright, IN. Memorials will be accepted by the funeral home for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
