Dorothy Bingle

Dorothy (nee Canterbury) Bingle of West Harrison, Indiana, passed away July 22, 2019, at the age of 67. She was born in Lenore, West Virginia on February 1, 1952, to Joel and Elizabeth (nee Evans) Canterbury. Dorothy married Terry Bingle on February 27, 1989. She loved to fish, play bingo and attend bluegrass concerts. Dorothy also loved the outdoors. She and Terry spent every morning and evening sitting together on their front porch and enjoying nature.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 30 years: Terry Bingle; dear children: Elizabeth Canterbury (fiancee William Scheidt), and Steve (Michelle) Bingle; her beloved grandchildren: Ryan Canterbury, Ashley Jagoditz, Peyton Bingle, Kaitlin Bingle, Taylor Toepfert, Alyssa Toepfert, and Conner Toepfert; her siblings: Joel Canterbury, John (Janie) Canterbury, and Florence Bryant; her brother-in-law: Frank Hall. As well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents: Joel and Elizabeth Canterbury; siblings: Sarah Hall, Jane (Elwood) Garwood, Mae (Bill) McGraw, Vicie (James) Dillon, Sally (Elza) Adkins, Elizabeth Canterbury, and Timothy Canterbury; Sister-in-law: Linda Canterbury and Brother-in-law: Milton Bryant.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019, from 5 PM until time of service at 7 PM, at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, Ohio 45030. Donations are requested to go directly to the Brater Winter Funeral Home to help with the cost of the funeral services.
