Beverly Case Obituary

Beverly Ann (nee Nieman) Case. Resident of Harrison, Passed away on January 13, 2018 at Mercy West Hospital at the age of 87. She was born on September 27, 1930 in Ludlow Kentucky to the late George Scoggins and Rebecca Nieman. She graduated high school and worked for Nieman Awning Company, her parents company. She married John "Jack" Joseph Case Sr. on September 6, 1958. They were blessed with three children: John "Jack" Jr., Ann and Joseph. Beverly enjoyed sewing, playing bingo and cooking. Her children will miss her Pot Roasts, Sunday Hamburgers and Baked Bean dinner, Saturday homemade donuts and the delicious goetta she always made. Beverly was a member for 40 years at St. Teresa of Avila until they moved to Harrison and became members at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Beverly is preceded in death by her dear husband John "Jack" Case, Beloved son John "Jack" Case Jr. parents, brother Denver Scoggins, Sister-in-law: Margaret (William) Wilkins, and brother in law Tom Case.

Those to cherish her memory are her two children: Ann (Kevin) Mitchell and Joseph T (Jo-Ann) Case. Cherished grandchildren: Kristen (Robert) Penrod, Karen (Jay) Behymer, & Megan Mitchell. Great grandchildren: Jack Penrod & another on the way.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 9:30 until the time of Mass at 11 AM in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 509 Harrison Ave.., Harrison. Burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Kentucky. Memorials may be made to St. John's Building Fund the day of the funeral or you may mail your donation to the church.
