James "Jimmy" Maas
Obituary
James "Jimmy" Maas, of Cincinnati, passed away at the age of 63, on January 4, 2023 at VA Hospital. Jimmy was born to Richard and Shirley (nee Fritz) Maas on February 13, 1959. During his younger years he loved to run and went to State in track. He joined the US Army and served his Country with Honor. Jimmy worked for his dad's Meat store and was a waiter at Western Hills Country Club for a few years. You had to know Jimmy to love him.. He was always kind and respectful to others. Jimmy had a talent and love for music and played the organ and piano beautifully. He also was very artistic and enjoyed drawing.
Jimmy will be missed by his siblings: Richard (Carol) Maas Jr., Teresa (Jim) Wendling, Marybeth Hinton & Karen Maas. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friend Christine form Judson Village.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents: Richard Maas and Shirley (nee Fritz) Maas Cusick; and sister: Denise Erwin.
Visitation will be at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 4551 Delhi Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45238 on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 9 am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Burial to follow at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
