After retirement, she enjoyed traveling to Europe, Haiti, Brazil and everywhere family and friends wanted to go. Ruth also enjoyed mowing and caring for her yard. Her true calling was traveling to Haiti to help at the Children’s Nutrition and Training Center.  The last time she went was when she was 85. Ruth enjoyed being a grandma to all the children in Haiti teaching them how to sew, celebrating birthdays, and teaching the children about God and his love for all of us.

Ruth was a lifetime member of Dearborn Hills Church and was active in the women’s groups and missions work.
