Delores Jane Childs

Delores Jane Childs, of West Harrison, passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 89.  She was born in Ludlow, KY to Harvey and Florence (nee Snow) Anderson.  

Throughout her life, Delores was known for her gentle nature and loving spirit. She dedicated many years of service in the billing department at P&G, where she formed lasting friendships and made a positive impact. Delores found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from knitting and crocheting to tending to her garden. She also cherished moments spent playing Bingo and exploring antique and vintage shops.

Survivors include her children: Kevin L. (Rebecca) Childs and Laura Childs; cherished grandchildren: Liam, Rayne, Kari and Kelli Childs; great grandchildren: Katylen Childs and Ziggy Gill; and her beloved sister Juanita Hauck.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Harvey and Florence Anderson; brother-in-law: Robert Hauck.

Graveside service will be held at Bullittsburg Baptist Cemetery,2616 Bullittsburg Church Rd, Petersburg, KY 41080, on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 1 pm.
