Ronald Roll

Ronald Roll, beloved husband and best friend of Donna (Doyle) Roll for 46 years, passed away on December 7, 2017 at the age of 67 after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma. Best Dad ever to Jennifer (Rob) Watson, Amy (Dan) Slakes, Lisa Roll, and Kristen (Joe) Odenbach. Best pumpkin-rolling Grandpa to Isabella and Sophia Watson. Dear son of Margaret (the late Raymond) Roll. Loving brother of Raymond (Mary) Roll, Mary Kay (Paul) Sunderhaus, and Sandy Roll, and dear "brother" to all the Doyle clan. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Ron was a proud member of the Elder High School Class of 1969 and a service technician with Sears for 42 years, and was the go-to fix it man for many family and friends. Ron's family wishes to thank Dr. Saulius Girnius and the staff of Hoxworth BMT for years of quality and loving care. Ron donated his body to the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to further research for a cure to multiple myeloma and assist families with the expense of treatment in Ron's memory to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 4370 Glendale Milford Road, Blue Ash, OH 45242. Or in lieu of a financial donation, please consider donating blood or platelets to Hoxworth. A memorial mass will be held in his honor on December 15, 2017 at 4 p.m. at St. Simon Catholic Church, 825 Pontius Road, Cincinnati, OH 45233. A celebration of Ron's life will be held at St. Simon's Plagge Hall after the memorial mass.
