Ronald K.McAdams Sr. passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016 in Harrison, at the age of 78. He was born June 3, 1938 in Harrison to the late Harry Eugene and Dorothy Edna (nee Cameron) McAdams. He married his high school sweet heart, Ruth Eckstein, on the same night they graduated from High School on May 25, 1959. They had one son Ronald K., Jr.. Ronald Sr. worked for Cincinnati Inc. for 30 years. He also ran R & J Electronics and worked on many of the Harrison School Buses, Police Cars, Fire Trucks and many others that had Ham radio's in the day. Ronald Sr. also coached many Little league Football and Baseball teams. In his spare time he and Ruth loved riding their Honda Motorcycle and enjoying time together. One love of Ronald Sr. was his enjoyment of golf. He would play 7 days a week and if possible he would have played 365 days a year.
Survivors include his beloved wife Ruth E. (nee Eckstein) McAdams; dear son Ronald K. (Joy) McAdams Jr.; loving grandchildren: Cammie and Kendra McAdams; Devoted siblings: Marshall (Carolyn) McAdams, Anna (Steve) Noble & Marjorie (Vernon) Kern & the late Thomas McAdams.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 28, 2016 from 5 PM until the time of the Massonic Service at 7 PM in the Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St. Harrison, OH. Service will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM in the funeral home with Dr. Rev. Harold Shackelford officiating. Burial to follow at Glen Haven Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Harrison Fire/ EMS or Cincinnati Hospice through the funeral home. www.braterfh.com
