Katie Spraker Obituary
Katie L. (nee Wells) Spraker passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 in New Trenton, Indiana at the age of 75. She was born in Jackson County, Kentucky to Willard and Clarinda (nee Joseph) Wells.
Katie was an active member of Smyrna Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and absolutely loved being outdoors and seeing all of the flowers bloom.
Katie was the loving wife of the late James Spraker. The devoted mother of James Dale Spraker, David Wayne Spraker, and Cathy (Kendall) Lake. She was the grandmother of Travis John (Caitlyn) Lake, Brandon James Lake, and Tyler David Spraker. Sister of Archie and Rex Wells and the late Zelma Eversole, Delbert Wells, Robert Wells and Lula Mae Turner.
Visitation will be Monday, March 27, 2017 at Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, from 5PM-7PM. Service will be on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Smyrna Baptist Church, 4047 US 52, New Trenton, Indiana, at 10AM with burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Brookville, Indiana. Memorials can be made to the church through the funeral home. www.braterfh.com
