Joan Brinkmann Obituary
Joan E. (nee Dressing) Brinkmann, passed away April 22, 2016 age 84. Resident of Sayler Park. Joan was born on November 29, 1931 in Birmingham, AL to the late Albert J and Genevive (nee Hunt) Dressing. She married Francis Brinkmann in 1950. They were blessed with 5 children: David, Judy, Barbara, Robert and Ann Marie.
Joan was the devoted wife of 65 years to Francis Brinkmann; loving mother of David (Dinae) Brinkmann, Judy (Chuck) Hagedorn, Barbara (Mark) Greiner, Robert (Jacqulyn) Brinkmann and the late Ann Marie Brinkmann. Cherished grandmother of Alex (Cristy) & Elyse Brinkmann, Katie (Brandon) Kiefer, Sara Hagedorn, Gina (Nick) Balzer, Anna Hagedorn, Mike (Jena), Dave, Steve & Beth Greiner, Jami (Steve) Day, Mathew (Renee) & Daniel Brinkmann; Wonderful great grandmother of 7 great grandchildren: Brendon & Devin Day, Lila & Kylie Kiefer and Ava & Grayson Brinkmann and Griffin Greiner. Dear sister of Eugene (Agnes) Dressing, Ruth (Jerry) Hilbert, and the late Phyllis (Dick) Grannan and Paul (Mary) Dressing. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 138 Monitor Ave., Sayler Park, OH 45233. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10 AM at St. Aloysius on the Ohio. Memorials may be made to St. Aloysius on the Ohio through the funeral home by bringing your donation to the visitation or Mass and giving it to a funeral home representative. They will notify the family of your donation and forward to St. Al's.
