Jinny Jones

Janet C. " Jinny" (nee Mushaben) Jones, resident of Harrison, passed away August 18, 2016 at the age of 71. She was born on May 13, 1945 in Cincinnati to the late Raymond and Jeanette (nee Means) Mushaben. Jinny married Dallas "Bud" Jones on May 1, 1965. They were blessed with three children: Lorryn, Deenah and Sheila. Jinny was a beautician for many years but what she was most proud of was her family. Jinny instilled the love of Jesus to her family every day. She always loved gathering as a family and cooking for anyone and everyone that showed up. Jinny enjoyed a good book, vacationing and supporting her devoted husband as he ministered at many area churches.
Preceded in death by her daughter: Deenah Jones, parents: Raymond and Jeanette Mushaben; siblings: Raymond Mushaben & Judith Hahn and Son in law David Bruns.
Survivors include her loving husband: Dallas "Bud" Jones; devoted daughters: Lorryn Bruns, Sheila (Ben) Byrd; cherished grandmother of Amanda (Stephen) Spreen, Stephanie (Damon) Roa, Brian (Judy) Bruns, Brad Bruns, Matthew, Brandon, Kyle and Cody Byrd; great grandmother of Maddison Wall, Ava Spreen, Olivia Roa, DJ Roa and Korbyn Bruns; and a sister Barbara Bond.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12 PM at Legacy Christian Church, 207 N. Vine Street, Harrison, OH. Burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves, Ohio. Memorials may be made to the Ruth Lyons Children's Fund through the Brater Winter Funeral Home. www.braterfh.com
