Janet Sizemore

Janet (nee Simon) Sizemore, age 87, Resident of Cincinnati, passed away on October. 13, 2017. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 27, 1930 to the late Malcolm and Elsie (nee Schramm) Simon. On September 9, 1950 she married the love of her life, the late Joseph H. Sizemore and together they were blessed with 8 children. Janet was an avid reader and loved to golf, knit, and play cards, and ping pong. She was a proud volunteer at St. Aloysius on the Ohio Catholic School in the library and in the cafeteria.
Janet is preceded in death by her husband: Joseph H. Sizemore, her parents: Malcolm and Elsie Simon, her daughter: Karen Beth Collier, and her sister: Carole Carson.
Those who will miss Janet the most are her dear children: Christina (Daniel) Neyer, Marsha Archer, Monica (Marc) Lowy, Mike (Kelly), Sam (Jana), & Susan Sizemore, and Mary (Kevin) Riede, 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law: Jeanne Powers, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation with be on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 9 AM to 10:30 AM Brater Winter Funeral Home, 138 Monitor Ave., Sayler Park. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM, Wednesday. October. 18, 2017 at St. Aloysius on the Ohio, Sayler Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Bayley Place Retirement Community, Hospice of Cincinnati, or St. Aloysius on the Ohio Library.. You may bring your donation to the visitation or to mass and give to a funeral home representative. If you are unable to attend then mail your donation to the funeral home.
