Germaine Stoligrosz Obituary
Germaine S. (nee Spychalski) Stoligrosz, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the age of 92. She was born on October 4, 1924 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Thomas and Clara (nee Noveroske) Spychalski.
Germaine was a teacher at Badin High School and Hamilton Public Schools for many years. She enjoyed Reading, listening to classical music, history, politics and enjoyed traveling. Germaine taught her daughters to be strong independent women.
Those who will miss her most are her loving children: Kathryn (Richard) McNutt, Margaret Biggs, Janet (James) Oliver, Mary Stoligrosz, and Elizabeth Jordan; Wonderful grandchildren: Steven (Joyce), Michael (Samantha), Scott (Mary), James (Maria) McNutt, Lisa Ann (Joseph) Walusek, Shannon (Pat) Lake, Rebecca (Matthew) Beloin, Colin Biggs, Jeffrey (Dana Larson) Oliver, Sara (Brian) Reinthaler, Amy (Steve) Carter, Andrew (Dawn) Levandusky, Adam (Emily) Levandusky, Daniel Levandusky and Philip Jordan; Cherished great grandchildren: Duncan, Kaitlynn, Kaiden, Cecilia, Anna, Cyril, Felicity, Jacob, Gloria, Rosalie, Ethan, Hope, Calvin, Cora, Arwen, Sophia, Chelsea, Claire, Annie, Kaitlyn, Ella, Tyler, Jacob, Adelai, Luke and one on the way; and beloved sister Phyllis Gobreski.
Germaine was preceded in death by her infant daughter Mary Louise Stoligrosz, grandson Sean Biggs, great granddaughter Hailey Kathleen, brother: Donald Spychalski and son in-law Patrick Biggs.
Memorial mass will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 10 AM in St. Peters in Chains Catholic church, 382 Liberty Ave., Hamilton, OH 45013. Burial of remains will be held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, 1015 Greenwood Ave., Michigan City, Indiana on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Badin High School, 571 Hamilton New London Rd, Hamilton, OH 45013 or to a charity of your choice.
