Garret Stanley Taylor

Garret Stanley Taylor, age 75, of Delhi, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018. He was born on April 16, 1943 to Stanley and June (nee Meyer) Taylor. He married Alice Meadows on November 25, 1972 and they lived a wonderful life together. Gary was a past member of the First Presbyterian Church of Delhi, and an active member of St. John's Westminster Union Church. He loved to travel with his wife. Together, they enjoyed cruises in Hawaii, and also enjoyed traveling to Texas, and New Orleans. He was especially fond of the Grand Canyon. Gary was an avid football fan and a long time Bengals season ticket holder. Gary liked car racing and enjoyed many memories of rabbit hunting with his father-in-law and dog. He loved to spend time with his nieces and taking drives with his friend Fred. Gary is preceded in death by his parents: Stanley and June Taylor and brother: Greg Taylor.
Those left behind to cherish memories spent with Gary include his loving wife: Alice Taylor; cherished nieces: Makenzie and Adrienne Soden, Holly Taylor, Jenny Doyle, and Briana Douglas; 8 Great-nieces and nephews; sister-in-law: Dotty Taylor-Cummings; cousins: Craig Stevens, who he saw as more of a brother, and Dana Stevens; Friend: Fried Tritschler; and energetic dog: Chip.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 in St. John's Westminster Union Church, 1085 Neeb Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45233, at 11:00 AM. Donations in Gary's honor can be made to St. John's Westminster Union Church at the time of service.
