Douglas Hartman Hogan

Douglas Hartman Hogan, age 58, resident of Cincinnati Ohio passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016. He was born in Canastota, New York on December 24, 1957. Doug was self-employed and worked as a contractor. He was blessed with 4 daughters: Andrea, Nicole, Sharise and Victoria. He enjoyed the outdoors and doing things outside whether it was hunting, camping, or golfing. Doug was a lover of music, especially Classic Rock & Blues. He enjoyed dancing even though is family says he wasn't a very good dancer especially his girls. Doug also enjoyed doing different projects involved with woodworking. Those surviving who will honor his memory include his mother: Patricia Scoones; loving daughters: Andrea (Matthew) Ferris, Nicole Hogan, Sharise (Scott) Waters, & Victoria (Kyle Meyers) Hogan; dear grandchildren: Bennett Ferris, Arya Meyers and one on the way; and cherished siblings: Althea Davis, Dawn Monet & Gigi Tebsherany. He was preceded in death by his brother: Timothy Hogan. A time of gathering for friends will be on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 12:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM at the Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine Street, Harrison Ohio 45030. Memorial donations may be made to the Barrett Cancer Center through the funeral home by bringing your donation to the visitation and funeral service or by mailing your donation directly to the funeral home.
