Daniel A Woolwine

Daniel Allen Woolwine, Resident of Guilford, IN, passed away on January 1, 2017. He was born on Feb. 12, 1970 in Hamilton, OH to Leah Rae (nee Reagan) and Harold Walter Woolwine. He was the little brother of Debbie, Lori, JR, Sammy and the big brother of Tobey. He met Daelle Schmeltzer and they were married May 30, 1992. They were blessed with three boys: Nick, Michael and Jake. Dan was a Heavy Equipment Relocation Specialist for Ford Development Company for over 20 years. He was known as "Mr. Happy" to many of his coworkers. When Dan wasn't working he enjoyed the outdoors. The hunting and fishing trips were always better when he was with family and friends. He loved Rocking out and supporting Nick at his Concerts. Dan had many friends and made many wonderful memories. Those memories are to be told and the family would like you to write down those memories and bring them to the visitation or place them on the funeral homes' website.

Those who will miss him most are his loving wife of 25 years Daelle; three boys: Nick, Michael and Jake; devoted mother: Leah Woolwine; cherished siblings: Debbie (Greg) Klump-Turner, Lori (Dean) Miller, Tobey (Jill) Woolwine; wonderful father & mother-in-law: Dale & Peggy Schmeltzer; Sister-in-Laws: Pam (Brett) Dohn, Leslie Schmeltzer; Brother-in-law: Paul (Desiree) Schmeltzer. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and many friends.

Dan was preceded in death by his father: Harold Woolwine; Brothers: JR & Sammy Woolwine, and a Brother-in-law John Klump Sr.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2016 from 4 PM to 8 PM Church on Fire, 10544 Harrison Ave., Harrison, OH 45030. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, January 7, 2016 at 10 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Harrison. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery in New Alsace, IN.

Memorials may be made to the family to help with future education for the boys. You may bring your donation made out to Daelle and give to a funeral home representative. If you are unable to attend the visitation or Mass you may mail your donation to the Brater - Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, OH 45030 (please make check payable to Daelle Woolwine.)
