Brooke Cherie Kraft

Brooke Cherie (nee Niehaus) Age 34, resident of Cincinnati, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016. She was born in San Diego California on December 2,1981 to Anthony Niehaus & Mary Kay (nee Buttram). Brooke spent her younger years growing up in Alabama with her parents, 2 brothers and sister. She loved life, and enjoyed cheer-leading in high school. After high school she attended college and took different classes. Brooke was a very spiritual individual who loved the outdoors, nature, and butterflies. Those who knew who knew she never met a stranger, and was loved by everyone. She had a very "bubbly" personality that could bring a smile to anyone's face, even when they were sad or upset. Brooke absolutely loved rainbows, and they reminded her of her mother, Mary Kay, who was taken from Brooke's life all too soon. She knew that every time she saw a rainbow that her mom was there and that everything would be alright.
Those surviving who will honor her memory include her wife: Brittany Kraft; loving daughter: Melanna Eversole; devoted father & step-mom: Anthony (Janie Deshazo) Niehaus; cherished siblings: Alex Irish, Tyler Niehaus, & Linsey Niehaus; dear grandparents: Dr. Ferd (Shirley) Niehaus, & Dianne Buttram; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Mary Kay Buttram; and grandfather: Billy Buttram.
Visitation will be Friday, June 17, 2016 from 11AM until the time of service at 1:30 PM at the Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 138 Monitor Avenue, Cincinnati Ohio 45233. Memorial Donations may be given to Children's Hospital through the funeral home or by mailing your donation directly to the funeral home.
