Beatrice H Crowder

Beatrice Henrieta (nee Neubeck) Crowder, age 100, of Liberty Township, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018. She was born on January 30, 1918 to Joseph and Ann (nee Airbar) Neubeck. She was a member of the Eastern Star's Cleveland as well as the Cathedral of Tomorrow in Akron. She is described as a very friendly and colorful person who was always with a smile. While she often kept to herself, she loved spending time with grandchildren, sewing and making paper flowers.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Jesse Crowder and her first husband: Rudy Kushman; as well as a granddaughter: Melissa Kushman; daughter-in-law: Ginny Kushman; parents: Joseph and Ann Neubeck, and siblings: Elinore, Bernice, Rita, and Joey.

Those left behind to cherish wonderful memories of Beatrice are her 2 loving children: Robert Kushman, and Charlotte (Chuck) Martini; cherished grandchildren: Michael and Christopher Martini, and Robert Kushman Jr.; and adored great-grandchildren: Logan, Connor, and Mason Martini, Jessica (Oliver) Sperin, and Nikki (Kyle) Tredway.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM in Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St. Harrison, OH 45030. A blessing service will follow at 10:00. Memorials in honor of Beatrice may be made to an endowment fund at Cannon UMC in memory of her daughter-in-law, Ginny, through the funeral home. You may bring your donation to the visitation and a funeral home representative will assist you, or mail a check payable to Cannon UMC with Endowment-Ginny Kushman in the memo if you are unable to attend.
